This special email came into HQs today;

"Hello and thank you for what you are doing.  I would like to have a free Bible sent to my little brother if possible.  You have changed my life with this Bible.  I am learning so much and building my faith in the Lord because of the Bible that I got from my Chaplain at Fort Jackson. This is my first time reading the NLT version of the holy Bible and I LOVE it! I can actually understand the Bible the way that I believe God meant for me to. I have grown so much in my prayer life and I am reading the Bible everyday. I also appreciated the note on the inside from "Kristen". Every now and then I go back and read it when I'm missing home, or feeling stressed out from the rigors of being a new soldier! I started training and broke my ankle, the week before I was scheduled to graduate. I'm still at Fort Jackson rehabbing my ankle before I can move on to OCS. I've been spending a great deal of that time reading and meditating on the word of God, and I want to really thank the Chaplain Corps for the good work that they are doing! No matter what, I know that the Lord is working things out for my good. That is now one of my favorite verses (Romans 8:28, I am so shocked that I can actually commit verses to memory now at the age of 27).
