I realize that it was probably meant to reach a deployed soldier or servicemember but God saw it fit to reach me. I found it very pleasing and touched that a young girl would take the time to write a soldier. Being a father of an 41/2 year old daughter, I know that doing something like she has, is not a normal activity. I am a soldier who started his training in Jan of 2008. I was injured and was forced to hault such training. Once I am cleared, I will be resuming my training and honor my duty as a US soldier. Being a Christian soldier has been a tough task at times. "The Bibles are being very well received. As Soldiers ask for a copy, the general response when the see the Bible and nice encouraging note in the front is "Wow, this is really nice" One day I observed two Christian Soldiers talking and felt led to offer them a Operation Worship Bible... The first Soldier opened up the Bible and saw the Scripture verse that the person wrote in the front and said "this one is for me..." The second Soldier read her note in the front of the Bible and could not speak for several moments; tears began to well up in her eyes...
